Felt-Lined Catch Box
$98.00 USD
A lidded box for the odds and ends that never found a drawer — keys, a watch, a loose cable, that little pile on the desk corner. Mitred at the corners so the grain runs unbroken around all four sides, and lined in felt throughout so metal doesn't announce itself when it goes in.
- Mitred corners — grain runs unbroken around the box
- Felt throughout, so keys go in without a clatter
- Lid sits flush and lifts without a catch

Materials
Solid walnut carcase with mitred and splined corners, wool felt lining on every inside face including the lid. Hardwax oil on the outside, nothing inside — oil on felt is a stain waiting to happen.
Care
Wipe the outside. Lint-roll the lining. If the lid becomes tight in a humid month, leave it open for a day rather than forcing it — the timber moves and comes back.
